What is Coolload’s data policy?
We only store data required to manage and run user accounts. Coolload employees can only access your data if they need to do so in the normal course of business, such as to assist in telephone or email enquiries about your account, or for typical administration and accounting purposes.
Can I opt out of Coolload emails?
Customers can manage which (if any) emails they receive from Coolload both on initially signing-up to the service and thereafter via the ‘My Profile’ section of the website. Users who have only elected to receive the ‘available vehicle’ emails can also unsubscribe from these by clicking on the relevant link at the bottom of the email. Users can also contact us at any time to request us to make these changes or to delete their information.
How does Coolload use your data?
We collect basic information from you when you create an account, including your name, address, email address, phone number(s), and VAT number. If you subscribe via card payment, we also store a unique reference number associated with a Worldpay or PayPal account. However, your card details remain private and are stored separately on the secure Worldpay or PayPal servers. This means that Coolload staff do not have access to your card details.
We may also record information when you contact us, including customer service requests and notes explaining your enquiry and how we responded. We also use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and mobile applications to collect information about interactions and usage.
How does Coolload make use of any information it may have about its users?
We use information about you to deliver, improve, update and enhance the services we provide to you. For instance, we use information about you to create your account, deliver our services (including websites and emails) and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
Does Coolload share my data with third parties?
We do not share data with third parties.
